I actually bought this download in error, but feel like there were forces in the Universe wanting to connect me to it. I practice and (sometimes) teach yoga, so I look for new yoga music from time to time. I played the little samples from Jala – Yoga Flow Mix and thought, “Yeah, ok.” When I purchased it, I forgot to use my Amazon credit, so this one came out of my pocket. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. What a great mix of music. Today I played it on my iPod as I walked through the grocery store … best grocery shopping experience EVER! If you dig Indian sounds and like the thought of mixing them with some other more contemporary sounds, this is the CD for you. If you teach, this is great for a 1 hour class; about 55 minutes in, it goes into a 10-minute chant which I think is perfect for Savasana. But following that is about 20 more minutes that I think would be great for a post-hatha meditation. This CD is very well mixed.
