This mat is so beautiful. I also noticed that it is a little bit thicker than my standard mat, which I appreciate for our floor exercises. The pattern is absolutely beautiful and it gives me something to focus on, especially during long downward dog poses.I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a beautifully unique youg mat at a resonable price!

I have been practicing yoga for 5.5 years and I bought this mat about a year ago as my second mat ever (the first one finally started falling apart). I was interested in the eco-friendly material and the reviews I read sounded promising. I so regret that purchase! I tried returning it, but the company would not take it back. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they too were unapologetic. My biggest peeve with this mat? It STINKS and has not stopped stinking like rubber since the day I got it. (Misc.)</b> </div> I purchased this mat about 6 months ago. I practice on it at least once a week. I have not had the 'wearing out' trouble that some others mentioned. Instead, when I roll it out it truly becomes my magic carpet. The thickness is so wonderful on your knees and other joints. I agree there is a natural rubber smell. This abates over time to a degree, and of course if you leave it wound up tightly it will preserve the smell longer. I also agree that the main problem with this mat is that it has a major static attraction to dust, hair, etc. that is on the floor. I purchased this mat about 6 months ago. I practice on it at least once a week. I have not had the ‘wearing out’ trouble that some others mentioned. Instead, when I roll it out it truly becomes my magic carpet. The thickness is so wonderful on your knees and other joints. I agree there is a natural rubber smell. This abates over time to a degree, and of course if you leave it wound up tightly it will preserve the smell longer. I also agree that the main problem with this mat is that it has a major static attraction to dust, hair, etc. that is on the floor. It hasn’t been a major problem but it is something I notice with this mat more so than other mats.

I love this mat! I tried 3 others and shipped them all back (thank you Amazon for a great return policy) because they were terrible on carpeting. The ComfortGel does not form hills when working out (aerobics) nor does it slide on the carpet much at all. With the others, I had to straighten them every couple minutes. Sweat does not make the hands slide on the mat when doing yoga or stretching. The cushion is excellent even though the mat is thin. And, I have plantar fasciitis, so this is a big compliment. I only wish it came in a larger/wider size since I now want to purchase another one and somehow tie/sew them together!

I bought this mat for Hypnobabies class and it is very thick and cushy. If you have coccydynia you’ll still need a cushion but it’s at least 2x as thick as traditional yoga mat.

love it! i take yoga and kickboxing; before i would be folding my mat over a couple of times in an vain attempt to gain some support for my bad knees, which nearly never helped. but the comfortgels impression mat, suprisingly, actually did what it says it does and aliviated the stress being placed on those joints. now i dont worry about leaving a class feeling worse than when i first came in. well worth the money, especially since the cheep mats can wear out within a couple of months and eventually you’ll have ended up spending as much money on a bunch of crappy mats that you could have instead thoughtfully invested in that single, fantasic and long lasting comfortgels impression.

I like this mat bag a lot! I ordered it for my really thick mat, and it fits just perfectly, with room to spare. Mats of almost any size will fit nicely into this bag.
